Salamander’s CT range gets WRAS

Following on from our blog post about WRAS, we noticed a relevant news piece from Salamander about their CT Pumps and achieving WRAS approval:

Salamander Pumps’ CT range has been granted WRAS approval. The range consists of 8 models. Four are Single Impeller Regenerative pumps: The CT 55 and CT 55+ 1.6 bar; the CT 85 and CT 85+ both operating at 2.5 bar. The other four in the range are the CT50 and CT 50+ (1.5 bar); and CT 75 and CT 75+ (2.1 bar).

The CT range is Salamander’s best selling product, and whilst they have always been WRAS compliant, they were submitted recently for full WRAS approval., and have subsequently been approved.

According to Chris Vallance, Sales and Marketing Director for Salamander pumps, the range’s main USP is its competitiveness, both in terms of its price and its performance. ‘The whole CT range is continuously rated, in other words, run the CT pumps for as long as you like’, he said. ‘They are designed with robustness and practicality in mind, they also come complete with isolating valves on the inlet couplers and brand new, ‘hall’ effect switching for better long term usage and reliability. We also changed the foot arrangement on the CT range to a more robust integral foot that is integral to the motor, those customers familiar with the CT range over the last decade will no doubt recognise and appreciate these improvements all at no extra cost. The WRAS approval award, just makes the CT shower pump the complete all-rounder.’
